We received this lovely letter and a photo of the overflowing shopping cart, full of donations for the OCEC from all of you at our Ocean City Library Concert. Music will always bring us joy. Because it’s Thanksgiving and we’re grateful for so much, because we can’t resist an “earworm,” and because we are just plain silly…This Bird’s for YOU!

We’re packing up the gear and heading out to Wheaton Arts Festival of Fine Craft, Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th. The festival runs from 10 AM to 5 PM. We play from noon to 4 PM, near the food court. As far as we know, it’s a rain or shine event. Let’s hope Joachin stays out to sea and leaves us alone! Hope to see your smiling faces!

From all of us to all of you, here’s wishing you a happy holiday weekend doing the things you love!
We are hard at work on our two upcoming shows, July 18th at the Ocean Heights Presbyterian Church at 7 pm and July 26th at Ventnor Coffee at 8 pm. We’ll be posting details in the next day or two. If you’re a Facebook friend, we have the events posted there.
But for now, kick back, relax and enjoy some “Hot Fun in the Summertime.”

We’ll be “walkin’ down a country road” for our next concert, April 11, 2014 at 7 pm at the beautiful Ocean City Library. We’ve picked out some tunes from folk, swing and rock and spiffed them up with a country flair. We’re thrilled that our good friend, Ed Tucker, will be playing pedal steel guitar and banjo with us. Come on out! Yee Haw!

Thanks to the fantastic folks at Gilda’s Club and the Cornerstone Commerce site, Saturday’s event was great fun. We are swinging into Spring with some fun gigs. Hope you can make it out to see us! First up is the Eco Fest held at Wheaton Arts in Millville, NJ. It’s on Saturday, May 5th, rain or shine. We’ll be playing from noon to four. Y’all come!
